Bert Kreischer and His Pranks on Hotel Maids
Standup comedian Bert Kreischer is a frequent traveler. He often has to check into hotels during his travels. Being a comedian, Bert has a terrific sense of humor that makes him pull a prank on the hotel maids. Whenever Bert is checking out, he remembers to leave the hotel maid a present.

Some of the smaller of these pranks (smiley face bed sheets for instance) doesn’t look so bad, and I could imagine that making the maids smile a bit. The larger stuff (the fake blood on the toilet for instance) I just don’t see them liking that too much, I know that would irritate me personally to clean up if I had only a set amount of time to clean.
Though after reading the comments, seems those that do/did work as maids are split.

Agreed, I’m a hotel maid and we do only have a set amount of time to clean. I would only find a few of these things funny. And the more dangerous stuff (such as insinuating that he climbed out of the window) would have to be reported (as tedious as that is). Most of it would just be a waste of time instead of entertaining. Just as you’re not supposed to piss off your servers, don’t piss off your hotel maids. We’re the ones that control the cleanliness of your sleeping conditions

Hilariously creative, but as many other people have said above, I’d be furious cleaning most of these up unless I got a great tip.

Honestly, as stated several times, the clean up for some of these aren’t any worse then picking up scattered towels left by “normal” guests. The only one that concerns me is the blood on the sheets. Not just because it could ruin the sheets but because as a maid I would be suspicious. Working in a department store sometimes get’s kind of gross and you realize how nasty people are, so I would think as a maid that would be amplified.

Awesome. I don’t think cleaning is enough of a deterrent. And I can just imagine the stuff maids have seen that has to be worse than this. A small price to play for a little clean shock humor.Pranks are just clean fun that aren’t supposed to hurt anyone. And after verifying there are no dead bodies, a maid would gladly clean this up. Besides you can never please everybody.

Ive cleaned hotel rooms before and id much rather clean up any of these “messes” over what some people leave behind. everything from used condoms, blood, semen, food, cigarettes, beer, snotty tissues stuckt o the wall to shit in the bathtub and bed. this is nothing. really?… what mess?

I wonder if he buys the spare shoes and such when he goes on a trip or does he get them last minute?

i think this is historical but the parts where there’s somebody under the cart is a little scary i’d just pee my pants right there.

That’s what’s wrong with this country. No one sees the comedic value in things. Everyone has to be so damn negative and critical about everything they see. If I was a maid, I would get a huge kick out of seeing that. Just think how boring and redundant that job is. Same white towels on the floor, trash on the floor because some lazy bastard couldn’t get it in the can. I would get a huge laugh out of it and enjoy the change of pace. Lighten up people, you’ll live longer.

Whoa…does this person just leave shoes and shirts behind at random hotels? He is wasting valuable clothing.

Since he’s traveling for his TV show he can probably afford the clothing. I’d be more concerned about leaving behind my favorite shoes/shirts since that’s what i usually pack when traveling =)

Funny if he was the one to clean it up. The poor maids have enough shitty work.

As a housekeeper, I’d love to walk into that “mess” any day! Very funny!! Our job is very monotonous and often gross. A good clean gag is always welcome!

I hope he tipped well at least. I was cracking up at these. The fake bodies would have seriously scared me, running out of the room. Classic!

If he’s not tipping at least $20, he’s a douche.

I work in housekeeping in a hotel and I’d probably be pretty upset if I found something like this in one of the rooms I was cleaning. Some of them would be comical but really the sheet hanging out of the window isn’t (considering it’s every housemaids worst fear to walk in on someone who isn’t breathing), nor is the “blood” on the towels. All I’m saying is if someone’s going to pull stunts like this is that they better be leaving a good tip.
