The year 2011 is going to be a big one for movies about cars. We might not get another “Gone in 60 Seconds” but the car movies of this year promise their own brand of entertainment. 1. Fast And Furious: Fast Five – IMDB

I know the Fast and Furious sequels have never been as good as the first one. But this installment promises the original cast and currently has an 8.1 rating on IMDb.

2. Cars 2 – IMDB

The movie “Cars” redefined how I viewed car-movies. These cute animated cars carried a wonderful story from start to finish. I’ll surely catch the second part.

3. Drive Angry – IMDB

Nicholas Cage is known to star in quite weird movies. The trailer appealed to me but I’ll decide the “hit or flop” status once I’ve seen the movie.

4. Transformers: Dark of the Moon – IMDB

Yes, the vehicles robots convert to qualify as cars. And with the special effects that Michael Bay has got up his sleeve, this car movie is going to be absolutely stunning.

5. The Green Hornet – IMDB

I’ve actually already seen this one. And this one is for everybody: fans and non-fans of car movies. Seth Rogen is funny as usual and the Asian dude has excellent chemistry with him. The car they get around on is simply wonderful.
