What can I adjust from Admin Theme Options??
- Sidebar 125 x 125 Ads – Image URL’s and Target URL’s.
- Sidebar buttons settings – Twitter and Facebook Profile/Pages links.
- Email subscription form settings – Adjust Feedburner Email subscription form.
- Header logo settings – Add image logo in header.
- Google Analytics setting – Insert Analytics tracking code without file editing.

Installation:
- Extract the smash.zip file in a convenient location
- Copy the ‘smash’ folder to ‘/wp-content/themes/’ directory in your web server.
- Log in to the WordPress Administration Dashboard
- Select the ‘Themes’ sub-menu from ‘Appearance’ menu
- Select the Smash theme from the available list of themes to preview
- Activate the theme.
Where are Admin Theme Options??
- After Activating New York theme
- Look for ‘New York Options’ tab in sidebar menu
How can i put Thumbnail in homepage posts?
Thumbnail script automatically scan your posts for images and use first image in the post as Thumbnail.
How can i specify my own post thumbnail:
- Upload an image and copy the url of image.
- Enter image link as ‘thumbnail’ or ‘post_thumbnail’ custom key value.
From where can i adjust jQuery E-mail subscription form??
- Get your feed burner Feed Name e.g
- http://feeds.feedburner.com/SmashingUpdates here ‘SmashingUpdates’ is what you need.
- In /wp-content/themes/smash directory look for ‘subscribe.html’ and edit it with any text editor.
- On line 4 put your feed name where it says ‘YourFeedName’
- On line 6 put your feed name where it says ‘YourFeedName’
- You are done, make sure you enabled Email Feeds from your feedburner dashboard.
Where is Smash 3 Column version???
Don’t worry here it is. Features of Smash 3 Column version differ a little bit from normal Smash 2 Columns. Use following buttons to Download or see the Live demo of Smash 3 Column version.

How may I quit the default thumbnail option, I want the original size images in post before enter it and may I put my own size ind the post or my own read more option at least in the first post? Please answer me and thankyou for this great theme.
Any way to edit the “Subscribe to RSS” button ? It links to my standard wordpress feed when I actually use a Feedburner feed
Hey you don’t need to edit button url instead use this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedburner-plugin/ it will redirect your default feed address to feedburner feed. Try my RSS button i am using the same plugin.

Was wondering if the 6 ad blocks can be changed to 1 or 2 blocks and can it be set up to change/rotate ads as page or category changes. Would be a nice feature.
You can adjust ad blocks from Smash theme options to choose how many ad blocks should show in the sidebar.
I would love to see in the next update Drop down menus for category’s and sub category’s
also the reply box the same size as the comment box

I’ve used this theme for my blog but in comments the text on reply button is not display and text widget is also not properly displayed in sidebar.

Hi, I just installed the 2-col theme on a local wp installation but the Tag Cloud wiget isn’t working! Is not supported by the theme?
Hi I am using smash theme for my blog, I did a mistake due to that its upper navigation category links has gone, as there is an option to remove unwanted category link at the top menu in this theme, I take my category name in that filed. But it should be the ID No, Also I have placed google Analytics code in the suggested field it is not tracking the data. Might be possible it is happening due to the same problem, can you please suggest me what should I do.
Yes you need to put category ID’s in order to remove them from top navigation and separate them with a comma. About analytics code, give it some time to track data 24 hours minimum.
Curious if there is a way to change the blue colors on the theme to red

Thx dude, this is a great theme. I have try it at my localhost computer. unfortunely there is only sidebar, But I would like add some footer bar to place some widget. could you help me, How could I edit the page function.php and footer.php ?

For those who want to know if this theme works with WordPress 3.0! I have tested it to the best of my ability and it works just fine.
I also forgot to add I found a bug within “single.php”
If you have HTML in your excerpt, the linkedin url within class=”social” will null and it will add the html code to the page.
This is a easy fix, all you have to is remove the part where the linkedin URL is pulling the excerpt.
Also I added some really cool css3 blockquote’s.
