Malibu: Dummy Cop Helps Real Ones Take a Break
You never suspect something funny going on in a cop car. Usually when you pass by it, the only thing running through your mind is “I hope I don’t get pulled over!”
But one person was smart enough to follow his instinct when he felt something fishy about a cop car. Instead of simply passing by, he turned around and took some pictures.
Check out what he found in the pictures below.

As ridiculous as it may be, it probably is effective. I would guess that it does stop speeding, although nobody is going to get a ticket of course. It is pretty funny though.

Not condoning speeding, of course, but it would be delightful if someone were to steal the manikin or the entire pigmobile.

I drive PCH everyday and pass this set up all the time. They move them around every couple of days but for the most part you can tell when its a dummy in the car. It does work to a point because every once in a while you get stuck behind somebody who thinks its real. The other day they used it as bait and just waited for people to drive past it fast and then pull them over. I saw 5 cops and 4 of them had somebody pulled over.

I live here in florida and see this malarkey by the local cops all the time sometimes it will be a dummy in the cop car or it is just an empty cop car that is moved around

This is seriously the first time you’ve seen a dummy in a cop car? They used to leave them in spots on the Garden State Parkway for weeks at a time. It’s funny (yet really annoying) when people insist on slowing down for a cop car that’s covered with 6 inches of fresh snow, windshield and all.

What what if the dummy is a real cop? How will you be able to tell the difference? They pretty much think and act the same!
