This is also known as a “fart fetish”. It is generally by males who are more visually stimulated than females. The person actually enjoys the sound and smells of a fart. It isn’t uncommon for this type of person to ask a complete stranger to fart in his/her face. I suppose the ideal partner for this flatulophile is a very gassy person who loves pinto beans and farting in public.
2. Emetophilia
Vomit fetish
It is an arousal from vomiting or from watching others vomit. This is also known as a Roman Shower when someone requests to be vomited on. The Romans would eat and eat until they vomited and had bath houses all over Rome for just such a purpose. It involves the sexual arousal from vomiting and may even include intense fantasies of vomit. This type of philia has various sites dedicated to videos and forums on vomiting. The sexual arousal of feces has many slang terms, depending on how the feces is used. Such terms for this philia are brown showers, hard sports, and scat spray.
The Cleveland steamer is when someone defecates on their partner. Then if the person rocks back and forth to flatten it on the person, it is called a Cleveland steamroller, or rolling brownout. Even experienced scat lovers can find nausea at the borders of enjoyment. “The goal of every true shit eater is to see how much he can eat before he barfs,” contends Rob, a 38-year-old Philadelphia lawyer.
4. Biastophilia
Sexual satisfaction by raping
Potentially lethal, this is the sexual arousal from raping an unwilling partner. The arousal intensifies the more violent it becomes. Screaming and struggling make the rape more enjoyable for the rapist. Many couples are known to act out rape fantasies to heighten their orgasmic experience. It usually involves bondage, physical and sexual violence. One well-known serial rapist is Robert Leroy Anderson who not only raped but sexually tortured his victims with eyebolts, duct tape, dildo, burning candles, and anal sex.
5. Apotemnophilia
Sexual arousal with amputations
Losing an arm or a leg is a traumatic experience, but even then you can still find love. Hopefully not with someone who is an apotemnophiliac. Such a person finds the act of amputation sexually arousing. Some have even gone far enough to dismember healthy limbs to achieve orgasmic heights. At any given time, these individuals will go to doctors to have their healthy limbs removed. Some going as far as Scotland to find someone to amputate their chosen arm or leg.
6. Erotophonophilia
Sexual arousal by torturing or killing victims
Animals never kill for sport. It is man that tortures and kills for the hell of it. Also known as “lust murder”, this causes arousal from the act of killing. Most common in serial killers, they find sexual satisfaction in violent fantasies. This causes the killer to try and make his fantasies real by killing a chosen victim. These violent fantasies are never really fulfilled and will cause the killer to become more and more violent in his attempt to reach sexual satisfaction. Usually his victims are ones he finds attractive in some way. He may kill them before, during, or after having sex. Afterward, he may strip the corpse, insert various objects into different orifices, and even have sex with the body.
7. Pedophilia
Sexual attraction to children
This is one most of us are more familiar with as a sexual fetish. The pedophile finds himself aroused by very young children and adolescents. Considered a psychiatric disorder, it is common among victims of child abuse. Although this is not a criteria for the making of a pedophile, studies show that most pedophiles are men, in rare cases they may be women.
8. Zoosadism
Arousal by torturing and killing animals
If animals are missing in your neighborhood and your partner seems overly attentive in the bedroom, you might want to check the basement for small furry bodies. Considered to be a part of sadistic, psychotic behavior, zoosadism is the pleasure derived from the torturing and killing of animals, even insects. Whether it is pulling the wings off of flies or setting fire to small animals, zoosadism is said to be the precursor to inflicting harm on other people. Other examples of zoo sadism is squeezing hamsters to death or setting them on fire and putting cats in microwaves to watch them explode.
Going back as far as Roman times, it is said that Emperor Domitian enjoyed catching flies to stick needles in them. This might seem a minor thing since it happened to insects, but many say this behavior will escalate to small animals and eventually to humans. Many serial killers started out by maiming and killing small animals and pets. For example, Jeffery Dahmer is known for harming animals before moving on to kill 17 people. Other examples are Ian Brady and the “Boston Strangler”. Never mind Viagra, just toss a couple of pets in the microwave.
9. Mecanophilia
Atraction to something mechanic
This is a sexual attraction to mechanical objects, such as bicycles, motorcycles, airplanes, and even helicopters. It is someone who finds the feel, smell, or colors sexually stimulating.
For example, Mr. Robert Stewart was placed on the sex offender’s list after he was caught trying to have sex with his bicycle in his home. An electrician by the name of Karl Watkins was sent to jail for having sex with pavements in 1993. Edward Smith admits to having sex with over 999 cars, his current love is a Volkwagen Beetle he has named Vanilla.
10. Necrophilia
Sex with dead people
Probably one of the most disgusting, bizarre sexual fetish is the sexual attraction to the dead. Of course, this isn’t just limited to attraction. Necrophiliacs actually have sex with dead and rotting corpses. More times than not, these individuals will work in places that give them access to the dead, such as funeral homes and morgues. Ed Gein is one who enjoys sex with the deceased. He inspired characters for the movies Psycho and Silence of the Lambs because he was known to wear the skin of the dead. He would dig up corpses and use the body parts as decoration in his house. He has inspired many writers and movie directors because of his obsession with the dead.
